Purviswasthya Sahayta Foundation is really just about helping with health-related stuff for the local people. It is a rural setting mostly, so things move a bit slower than the city center, which we actually prefer for this kind of work. Shailendra has been around here for a long time and knows most of the families in the area. We don't have a big budget or a shiny building with a receptionist. It is more of a community-based thing where people know they can come if they are having a hard time with medical issues or need some kind of support. We spend a lot of time just talking to people in the village and hearing what their actual problems are. Sometimes we are traveling between Gram Bhuhar and other nearby spots to check on folks.
