Down in Sector-88, we have set up the Pankhh Welfare And Empowerment Foundation in House No D-11. It is on the ground floor of the RPS Palm area, which is a nice residential spot. Being on the ground floor is convenient because people can just walk right in without having to deal with stairs or elevators. We have a little patio area out front where we keep some plants, though they do not always look very healthy in the summer heat. Inside, the rooms are converted into office spaces with basic desks and some shelving for all the files we collect. It feels a bit like working from home because it is a house, after all. We usually start the day around nine, and the first thing anyone does is turn on the lights and check if the internet is actually working. We have a small kitchen where we make tea and heat up our tiffins. It is a low-key environment where we do not worry too much about dress codes or formal titles. We just focus on the tasks at hand, whether that is calling people back or organizing the next event. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate. Sometimes the local dogs bark at the gate, but mostly it is just the sound of the ceiling fans and the clicking of keyboards all day long while we get through the lists.
