Nsn Handicrafts & Exports Private Limited is located over in Sector-10, Noida, at A-96. It’s a typical industrial area, so it’s not exactly the most beautiful place to work, but it gets the job done. We deal with handicrafts, which means our office is almost always cluttered with samples and half-packed crates. We have been here for a while now and the neighbors know us. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. Most of our day is spent checking the items that come in from the makers. We look for loose threads or bits that aren't quite right. It can be tedious work, especially when it’s ninety degrees outside and the air conditioning is struggling to keep up. We are just a small crew trying to make sure these things get to where they’re going in one piece. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with meetings and presentations. We just talk over the packing tables. Sometimes shipments get delayed at the port, and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to track them down. It’s frustrating, but that’s just the export business for you. We just keep going, day after day, trying to keep the boxes moving out the door. It’s not glamorous, but it is our living and we take it seriously enough.
