Nav Path Utthan Gramodhyog Manav Vikas Foundation

Our foundation is based in Bankawala at Julfkar Ali’s place. The full name is Nav Path Utthan Gramodhyog Manav Vikas Foundation, which is quite a mouthful. We usually just say we are from the foundation when people ask. We are a small group of people from the village. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or computers for everyone. It’s a very simple setup. We started this because we wanted to help the people in Bankawala with their small businesses and general well-being. A lot of what we do is just sitting and talking with local farmers or craftspeople. We don't have a marketing department or a website that looks professional. We just have our reputation in the village. Sometimes we struggle to get things done because we don't have a lot of resources, but we don't let that stop us. We don't use corporate jargon or make big promises we can't keep. We just look at what’s right in front of us and try to make it a little better. It’s a bit of a slow process, and we aren't always as organized as we’d like to be. But we are here every day, and the people in Bankawala know they can come to us. We’re just local folks trying to help the community grow in a way that makes sense for everyone living here. It’s basic, honest work.
