Metal Crafters

We’ve been over at C-67 in the Hosiery Complex for quite a while now. Metal Crafters isn't a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. It gets pretty loud with the machines running, but that's just how it is when you're working with metal. We started out small and stayed in the Phase-Ii Extn area because it's where we know people. The floors are usually covered in scraps by noon, and we spend a lot of time just organizing the daily orders. Most of us have been here for years. We don't have a big office or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably find us in the back. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and cutting. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them ourselves. We handle a lot of different metal parts here. It’s not always pretty, but the work is solid. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the trucks to come in. The traffic around the Hosiery Complex can be a headache, especially in the evenings, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping busy and making sure the orders go out. It's a simple setup, really. Just some guys and some metal tools. We usually start early before the sun gets too hot. The neighbors know us by the noise. We try to keep things organized but it's a workshop, so things get messy fast. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on schedule.
