Kanti Industries

Down here at F - 357 in Sector - 63, things stay pretty loud during the day. Kanti Industries has been in this part of Noida for a good bit of time now. The street outside is always full of trucks and people commuting to the various factories around here. Inside our building, there is always the sound of machines running or something being moved across the floor. It’s a lot of manual work and we all go home with dirty hands most days. We have a small office area up front where the phone rings more than it probably should, but that’s just part of the job. Most of the guys on the floor have lived in Uttar Pradesh their whole lives and they know their way around the equipment better than anyone. We don’t have fancy lunchrooms or anything, usually just sitting on whatever is handy to eat our tiffins during the break. Sometimes the heat in the summer gets to be a bit much, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We try to keep things organized but in a place like this, there’s always a bit of clutter from the raw materials or the finished bits waiting to be packed up. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the machines and the busy atmosphere of Sector 63 over the years. We just keep our heads down and get the production numbers met every single week.
