You can find us at 117/Q/41 in Sharda Nagar. It is a regular building in a regular street. The foundation was named after family, so it feels very personal to those of us who work here every day. We are not trying to be some massive global group. We just focus on what we can do from our spot in Sharda Nagar. Most of the day is spent handling requests or organizing small bits of help for the local area. The office is not very big, so we have to be careful not to let the files pile up too high on the tables. We have a few old fans that make a lot of noise, but they keep us cool in the heat. People from the neighborhood drop by quite often. Sometimes they want help with a school form or sometimes they just want to share some news. We listen to everyone. We do not have any fancy mission statements on the wall. Instead, we have a calendar and a lot of notes pinned up so we don't forget things. It is a bit of a messy way to work, but it suits us fine. We know the people around here and they know us. Sharda Nagar is a good place to be based. It is central and we can get around easily. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single morning.
