J.S.M Foundation

The J.S.M Foundation is run out of a place in Quarsi, Aligarh. To be more specific, we are at Gokulesheshpuram, down IV Len on Devsaini Road. The office is located at Pushpendri Maurya’s place. It’s a typical residential neighborhood where everyone knows their neighbors. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular house where we’ve set up some space to do our work. Devsaini Road stays fairly busy with traffic, but once you turn into the lane, it gets a lot quieter. We spend our days handling whatever comes up for the foundation. There isn't a strict schedule every single day, but we are usually around during normal hours. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have quite a few files and supplies stored there. Sometimes we sit out in the small area near the entrance when the weather is nice. Being in Aligarh, we see a lot of local people coming by to ask questions or just to see what’s going on. We try to keep things simple and honest here. There are no big meetings or fancy presentations. It’s just about getting the work done one day at a time. The foundation has been part of this street for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood, from the morning milk delivery to the kids playing in the lane after school.
