Our place is Jai Kalka Maa Dairy Products Private Limited, and we are based out of H-060, Site 5 in the Kasna Industrial Area. Being in Greater Noida, in the industrial belt of Gautam Buddha Nagar, means we are surrounded by factories and big warehouses. It’s not a glamorous location at all, but it’s where the real work happens for us. We deal with dairy products, which means we are up before the sun most days of the week. Cows don't wait for anyone, and neither does the milk when it arrives. The floors are usually wet from cleaning, and the air smells like fresh dairy. We aren't a polished corporate entity; we are more about heavy boots and plastic aprons. We focus on the basics of what we do. The machinery needs a lot of looking after, and there is always something that needs fixing or adjusting. We have a small crew of people who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We don't have time for long meetings or fancy mission statements that don't mean much. We just need to make sure the products are fresh and move out to the customers on time. It’s a tough business because things can spoil if you aren't careful, so we stay on top of it. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been at Site 5 for a while now and we know the routine.
