We are based in Bala Nangal, specifically in the Dhakka Said Nangli area of Amroha. Most people know the spot because it’s where Mohar Singh’s family is known, and we operate out of Rumalo Devi’s house at number 193. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood most of the time, though the mornings get a bit busy when people are heading out to the fields or work. We started Iqdo Education Foundation because there was a need for some extra help with teaching the local kids around here. It isn't a huge fancy building or anything like that, just a regular house where we can get some work done and talk to the parents who stop by. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoons which is typical for our part of Jyotiba Phule Nagar, but we just open the windows and keep going. We don’t really have a big staff, just a few of us who care about how the children in Bala Nangal are doing with their studies. People usually just drop by if they have questions or if they want to see what we are doing with the books. It’s more of a community thing than a formal office. We have been here for a while now and most of the neighbors know us by name. It is simple work but it keeps us busy every day from Monday to Saturday. If you are ever near the Dhakka Said Nangli area, you will probably see our small sign.
