Insel Rectifier (India) Private Limited is based out of unit 151 in UDYOG KENDRA EXT-2. This is part of Ecotech 3 in Greater Noida, which is a big industrial zone in Gautam Buddha Nagar. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where all the manufacturing happens. Our place is a proper industrial unit, so it’s all about the rectifiers we put together. The building is functional and looks like every other one in the Udyog Kendra area. We have a mix of office space and a floor where the actual work happens. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. Being in Uttar Pradesh, we have to deal with the typical power swings and the dust from all the construction nearby. Most of our day is spent making sure the components are right and the shipping is on time. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle and some tea bags in the corner. It’s a quiet enough area during the day, except for the sounds of the neighboring factories. We’ve been in this spot for some time now and have settled into a routine. It’s a long way from the city center, but it’s where the work gets done best for us. There are a few of us here and we mostly just focus on our individual tasks and the occasional shared tea break.
