Hillcha Foods Priavte Limited is run from Flat No 401 in the Ratan Apartment building. The address is 7/154 Swaroop Nagar in Kanpur. Since we are in an apartment, it is a very different vibe from a big factory or a downtown office. It is basically a small group of us working out of a few rooms. We have desks set up and some space for our files and samples. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to people in the food industry. Swaroop Nagar is a nice area and it’s convenient for us to be here. We don't have a big sign outside or a shop where people can walk in. It is more of a behind-the-scenes operation. We handle the administrative side and the planning for our food business from this flat. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of paperwork or new samples to look at, but we make do with the space we have. We aren't a big corporation with lots of money to spend on fancy things. We are just local people trying to make a living. We do all the work ourselves, from the accounting to the phone calls. It is a simple setup and it works for us right now. Kanpur is a big, noisy city, but it is quiet enough up on the fourth floor for us to get our work done. We just keep it simple and focus on the food.
