Golden Peakock Overseas Ltd.

Our office and warehouse are at 20A in the Noida Special Economic Zone. Working inside an SEZ is a bit different than being on a normal public street because of all the gates and security checks you have to go through. Golden Peakock Overseas Ltd. has been operating from this location for quite a while now. The building is designed for work, not for looking pretty. We have large open areas where we check the quality of items and get them ready for shipping. It involves a lot of standing and moving around, so we all wear comfortable shoes. There is always the sound of packing tape and cardboard boxes being moved around. The office part is just a few desks shoved into the corner where we handle the export documents. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, and the fans never seem to be fast enough, but we keep going. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years, so we all know how the others work. We don't have any mission statements on the walls or anything like that. We just have a list of what needs to go out by the end of the week. It is a very practical, hands-on environment. Lunch usually happens in a hurry, and then it’s back to the crates. We aren't doing anything fancy, just moving goods from one place to another and making sure they are packed right.
