Glowgavin Impex Private Limited is tucked away in Friends Puram Extension in Sikandra. The house number is 36. It is a bit of a walk from the main road but it is a peaceful spot to get work done without too many distractions. We handle import and export tasks here. Our office is basically a room with some computers, a printer that jams occasionally, and a big table where we spread out all the shipping documents. Sikandra is an interesting part of town with a lot of history but we are mostly focused on the logistics side of things. We started this company because we had some experience in trade and wanted to try doing it on our own. It is not always easy and there are days when nothing seems to go right with the shipping lines. But we keep at it. The team is just a few local guys who know the area well and have worked together for a long time. We don't go in for big meetings or corporate presentations. We just talk over tea and figure out the plan for the day. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait around to upload files to the portal. We use that time to talk about the local cricket matches or what's happening in the neighborhood. It is a very simple way of working. We like being in Friends Puram because it feels like a home away from home for all of us.
