Gajendra Singh

I live and work out in Modi Nagar, in the village of Latifpur Tibra. My name is Gajendra Singh. It is a bit of a trek for some people, but it’s a peaceful place to be compared to the bigger cities. Life moves a bit slower here in Latifpur Tibra. I wake up early, usually with the animals, and get started on whatever needs doing. It’s mostly just me out here. I don’t have a big office or anything like that. I use a small room that’s part of the main house for my business. It’s got a solid roof and a good floor, which is all I really need. People from the village know where I am if they need help with something. I don’t use much technology, mostly just my hands and some basic tools. Sometimes it’s hard work, but I like being my own boss. The air is better out here in Modi Nagar than it is in the middle of town. We get a lot of dust during the dry season, but you get used to it. My name is Gajendra Singh and that’s what people know me as. I don't have any fancy titles or expensive business cards. I just try to be fair with everyone who comes by. It’s a simple life, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here in Latifpur Tibra. It is just where I belong and where I do my work.
