Gail(India) Ltd

Our office for Gail(India) Ltd is in a bit of an unusual spot. We are in Flat No. P 226 in Jal Vayu Vihar, which is in Sector 21 of Noida. It is a residential complex, so it is much quieter than the industrial areas of Uttar Pradesh. When you walk in, it feels like a regular home, but with more computers and filing cabinets. We have converted the rooms into workspaces. The kitchen is mostly used for making tea and coffee. We have a balcony where we can see the park downstairs. The kids play there in the evening. It is a nice view when you have been staring at a screen for hours. The security guards at the main gate are strict, so visitors have to sign in every time. It can be a bit of a hassle, but it keeps the place safe. We do not have a big neon sign. There is just a small nameplate next to the doorbell. Most of our work is about coordinating between different departments. We have a lot of phone meetings. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it is just someone delivering a package for one of the neighbors. We just point them to the right flat. It is a very domestic way to run an office. We like the peace and quiet. The 201301 area is a good place to be. We just get on with our tasks and try to be good neighbors to the people living around us.
