G2C Social Welfare Foundation

G2C Social Welfare Foundation is located at A-7 in Olive County, over in Sector-5 of Vasundhara. Ghaziabad is a crowded place, but Olive County is a nice spot where we can actually get some work done. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easier for people to drop in without having to deal with stairs or lifts. The office is just a regular apartment that we’ve converted into a workspace. We have some chairs and a few desks where we handle all the welfare stuff. It’s not a corporate headquarters by any means. We drink a lot of tea and talk about what needs to happen next in our neighborhood. The security guards at the gate know us pretty well because we’ve been here for a while. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we have to wait for it to come back before we can finish our emails. That’s just part of life in Ghaziabad. We don’t have a dedicated PR person or anything like that. We just do the work ourselves, from answering the phone to filing the paperwork. It feels more like a small community group than a formal foundation. We like the fact that we are right where people live. It keeps us grounded and reminds us why we started this in the first place. Sector-5 is a good place for us to be located right now for the long term.
