Our place is over at A-19 in Nirala Nagar, which is a fairly quiet part of Lucknow compared to the main markets. Fishlee International Private Limited is run from this building, and it feels more like a house than a big corporate office. We like it that way because it is comfortable. The rooms are filled with desks and a lot of paper that we try our best to keep organized. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on how things are moving in the international market. We don't have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls or anything like that. We just have a calendar with a lot of scribbles on it. The staff here has been together for a while, so we usually just know who is doing what without having to have long meetings. Lucknow weather can be quite unpredictable, especially during the monsoon, so we spend some time making sure the roof isn't leaking near the computers. When you come by, you’ll probably see a few of us sitting out on the small porch during a break. We handle a lot of logistics and planning, which can get complicated, but we just take it one step at a time. It is a practical way of working. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby or expensive furniture. We just want to get the work finished correctly and get home to our families at the end of the day.
