Being in a market area means there is always something going on right outside our door. We’ve been in this shop for a while now. It’s a convenient spot because people can just pop in while they are doing their other daily shopping. The inside is pretty basic—just what we need to get the job done. We have our desks, our chairs, and a lot of paper records. Ghaziabad is a fast-moving city, but inside the shop, we try to take things one step at a time. We don't have a fancy reception desk or any of that. When you walk in, you’re usually talking directly to the person who handles the accounts. We spend our hours going through the ledger and making sure the numbers are right. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the market street, especially in the summer, but we don't mind much. The 201001 area is our home base and we’ve gotten to know the other shopkeepers around here. We aren't a big corporate chain with thousands of branches, just this one spot in Budh Vihar. We focus on the daily tasks of the business and try to keep things honest and straightforward for everyone who comes in. There is always a lot of paperwork to do, but we just handle it piece by piece throughout the day. It's just a regular local shop where we keep the books.
