Emerging India Paramedical And Nursing Council

We are located over at the Krishna Educational spot in Kumarkamal Pur. This isn't a hospital, but a place where people come to learn about nursing and paramedical work. The council is based here to help get students ready for real jobs in healthcare. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but Kumarkamal Pur is a quiet enough place to study. The building is usually full of young people in their uniforms, carrying books and talking about their exams. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The classrooms are simple with wooden desks and whiteboards that have seen better days. Our instructors are people who have spent years working in actual clinics, so they tell a lot of stories about what it’s really like on the ward. There is a lot of paperwork involved in running a council like this, and you can usually see stacks of it on the desks in the main office. We focus on the basics of nursing and making sure the students know how to handle the equipment. It’s a busy environment during the day, with classes starting early and labs going on until late. We aren't trying to be a fancy university; we just want to provide a place where someone can learn a trade and get to work. It’s a practical, noisy, and hardworking kind of place.
