Duniya Dari Foundation

We are way up on the 12th floor of the tower in Jaypee Wish Town. It’s a long ride up the elevator, but once you’re here at Duniya Dari Foundation, it’s actually quite peaceful. Being in Sector 134 of Noida gives us a good look at how much the area is growing. The name of the foundation means 'the ways of the world,' and that’s basically what we deal with every day. It’s not always pretty. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at computer screens. The office is tucked away in the tower, so it’s not like people just wander in off the street. Most people who come here have a specific reason. We have a couple of rooms and a small kitchen where we make way too much tea. The Gautam Buddha Nagar area is big, and we try to cover as much ground as we can from this 12th-floor spot. Some days the clouds are so low they almost touch the windows. It’s a different world up here compared to the busy streets below. We aren't a big corporate team; it’s just a handful of us trying to keep things organized. We don't use a lot of fancy words for what we do. We just look at the problems people bring to us and try to find a way through them. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until night.
