Dhananjay Sanjogta Foundation

Our office for the Dhananjay Sanjogta Foundation is way up on the 24th floor of Ace Aspire. It’s in Greater Noida West, which is a part of town that seems to have new buildings going up every single day. Being so high up, we have a pretty good view of all the construction and the traffic down below. It’s a lot different from the older parts of the city. We have a small team working out of this apartment-style office. It’s quiet up here, which helps when we have to focus on our records. Sometimes the elevators take forever, so we have to plan our trips downstairs carefully. We aren't some giant corporation; we’re just a few people trying to manage this foundation properly. We spend most of our time on our laptops or on the phone. The rooms are filled with folders and stacks of documents. It’s a modern building, but we’ve made the space feel a bit more like home with some plants and a big tea station. Visitors sometimes get lost finding the right tower, so we spend a lot of time giving directions over the phone. We work on various social initiatives from here. It feels like a small island of work in the middle of a big residential complex. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like the view and the quiet atmosphere.
