Deen Dunya Taleem Foundation Of India

You can find us over at D Block near Shahpirmasjid in Noida Phase II. We are set up at Haji Mohd Yakub’s place right now. It is a familiar spot for most people who live around here. Deen Dunya Taleem Foundation Of India is what we call ourselves, but mostly we are just known as the group at the masjid area. The streets get very crowded during prayer times so we usually plan our work around that schedule. It is a lively neighborhood with people always walking by. We have a small room where we keep our files and sit down to talk. It is not fancy at all. There is a lot of noise from the street sometimes, but we are used to it by now. People from the community drop by quite often just to say hello. We do not have a big website or anything fancy, we just work from this one desk. Haji Sahib is around most days to help out. We try to keep things very simple. Dealing with all the paperwork takes up a lot of time, more than we thought it would when we started. Noida has changed a lot lately, but this corner still feels the same. We have some chairs for visitors and a tea kettle that is always on. We are not trying to be some big national organization with offices everywhere. We are just here in D Block doing what we can.
