It is a tall building and the view from the window shows a lot of other towers and some empty patches of land where they are still building things. Working in textiles means there is always a bit of dust and lint around, even if we try to keep the office clean. We have a small group of people here. Most of the day is spent looking at different fabric samples and making sure the colors look okay under the office lights. It is not like those big corporate offices you see in movies. We have stacks of boxes in the corner and the printer makes a loud clicking noise every time we use it. We usually take a break around four in the afternoon for some tea and a few biscuits. That is when we talk about the deliveries and which trucks are running late. Greater Noida is a bit quieter than the main city, which makes the commute easier for most of us.
