Classics Textiles

Our place, Classics Textiles, is at A-74 in Sector-65. It’s a pretty standard industrial block with lots of similar buildings and small factories. We’ve been here for several years now. The air inside is always a bit full of lint because of all the fabric we handle daily. You get used to it after a while, but visitors usually sneeze. We have long tables for cutting and inspecting the cloth. Most of the lighting comes from overhead tubes that flicker sometimes. We have a small crew of workers who have been together for a long time. We know each other's families and often share food during the lunch break. We don't have a showroom or a fancy entrance. You just walk in past the loading bay. There is an old desk near the door where we handle the invoices. We use a lot of blue ink pens for some reason; there are dozens of them scattered around. Sometimes the shipments arrive late and we have to stay late to get them unloaded. Nobody complains much, we just get on with it. We don't spend money on marketing or big advertisements. If we do a good job, people tell their friends. That’s been enough to keep us going through the years. It’s a simple business without any hidden layers or corporate stuff. We just work with textiles and try to keep our heads down. The roof makes a lot of noise when it rains, but we're used to it.
