Bbg Foundation

Bbg Foundation is located at 7/30-31 Basant Shobha in the Tilak Nagar area of Kanpur. If you know Kanpur, you know it’s a place that’s always moving. Our building sits near the CSA area and it's a regular spot where we get our work done. We aren’t some far-away group; we are right here on the ground in Uttar Pradesh. The foundation came about because a few of us saw things in the city that could be handled better if people just teamed up. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It’s mostly just local folks who know the streets of Tilak Nagar. We spend our time looking at local problems and trying to find practical ways to fix them. Sometimes that means helping a neighbor with a problem or organizing something small for the street. It’s nothing too fancy. The office at Basant Shobha is usually busy with people coming in to talk or share ideas. We listen more than we talk, usually. Kanpur has its own way of doing things, and we try to stick to that. It’s about being reliable and being there when someone knocks on the door. We don't use those slick marketing slogans you see on TV. We just tell people who we are and what we’re doing right here in the neighborhood. It’s hard work sometimes, but it’s worth it.
