Basta Welfare Foundation

If you come by Lotus Boulevard in Sector 100, you’ll find us in Tower 9, flat 2805. This is where Basta Welfare Foundation runs from. Noida is full of big towers and busy roads, and we’re right in the middle of it. We didn’t want to go find some expensive office space when we could just use what we had right here. It’s a bit different running a foundation from an apartment, but it makes it feel more like a family project. We handle a lot of the phone calls and planning right from the living room. Our neighbors know what we’re up to and sometimes they even pop in to see if we need a hand with something. We deal with all sorts of welfare issues, whatever comes up in the local area or even further out in Noida. It’s mostly just keeping track of people who need support and finding ways to get it to them. Sometimes the elevator is slow or the lobby is crowded, but that’s just life in a big complex. We like being close to where people live. It keeps us grounded and reminds us why we started this in the first place. No polished desks here, just a lot of files and people trying to make things a little better for someone else today. It’s simple, honest work and we do it every day.
