Bargad Global Foundation

We are located in Pappu Colony, specifically at B22-2 in Gali number 2. It is a busy little street, and our office for the Bargad Global Foundation is right in the middle of it. We chose the name Bargad because it reminds us of the big trees that give shade to everyone, and that is sort of what we want to be for this neighborhood. But we don't go around saying that in a boastful way. We are just a small foundation trying to do some global-style thinking from a very local spot. The office isn't much to look at, just a room with some desks and a couple of fans to keep the heat away. In Gali 2, everyone knows each other, so we don't need big signs or advertisements. People just walk in when they see us working. We deal with all sorts of things, mostly trying to figure out how to improve the lives of the people living around Pappu Colony. We are not some polished NGO with fancy cars. We walk the same streets as everyone else and deal with the same daily struggles. It is a very practical way to run a foundation. We focus on getting things done rather than looking important. If you come by B22-2, you will see us just doing our daily tasks and trying to be useful. It is a bit messy and crowded sometimes, but that is just how things are here in the colony.
