You can find us at number 77 in Indralok Colony, which is over in the Naiganj Muradganj area of Jaunpur. It’s a residential part of the Sadar district, so it feels quite local and grounded. We have been operating from this house-turned-office for some time now. It’s comfortable for us and for the people who visit. We don't have a giant neon sign or anything like that. People usually know us by word of mouth or because they live just a few streets away. Jaunpur is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of its daily life now. Our work day starts fairly early. We open up, sweep the front, and get the ledger books ready for whatever comes our way. Most of the time, we are just helping members with their savings or explaining how the Nidhi rules work. We aren't experts in everything, but we know our business well enough to help. The office gets a nice breeze in the afternoons, which is good when it gets hot outside. We keep things informal. If someone comes in, they sit down and we chat while we handle their transaction. There’s no rush and no pressure. It is just a steady flow of work. Being in a colony like Indralok means we see the same kids playing outside and the same vendors passing by. It’s a nice, simple way to run things for the long term.
