We are up on the 16th floor of the SBS NRI Residency in Greater Noida. If you know the Pari Chowk area, we are just a stone’s throw from there. Being this high up gives us a pretty good view of the surroundings while we work on floor plans and layout designs. Ark Space Planning is really just about making sure rooms and buildings make sense for the people using them. It gets windy up here sometimes, but the office stays fairly quiet. We spend most of our time at our drafting tables or looking at computer screens. It isn't a very large team, just a few people who have a handle on how space should be organized. We have been in this spot for a bit now, and we've gotten used to the elevator ride up to C-1603. It's a decent place to work. We don't really go in for a lot of talk, we just focus on the drawings and the measurements. People usually come to us when they have a new place and don't know where to put the walls or how to fit everything in. We try to be practical about it. Greater Noida is growing fast, and there is always something being built nearby. We like being part of that growth, even if it's just from our little corner on the 16th floor. It's honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is close.
