Our place is located near the Ram Lila Ground in Bukhara, Bijnor. We are in care of Shahjhan, at the address Multan P1/66/783. It is a very well-known spot because of the ground nearby. During festival times, it gets incredibly crowded and loud, which is quite exciting. The rest of the year, it is just a normal neighborhood. ARADYA JAN KALYAN NIDHI LIMITED operates out of a simple room here. We have a few desks pushed against the walls to make space. Most of our day is spent filling out forms and talking to the people who walk in from the street. We don't have any big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here. We have a small light bulb over the main desk that we turn on when it gets dark. The floor is tiled, and we try to keep it clean, though people bring in a lot of dust from the road. We keep our records in big binders that are labeled by hand. It’s a very manual process, but we are used to it. There’s a small tap outside where we wash our hands. We usually have a bit of a laugh while we work because we all know each other well. It’s a friendly place, and we don't take ourselves too seriously. We just do the paperwork and help out the local folks who come to see us.
