Our work happens in a quiet corner of Mangalam Housing Society, specifically in Module-8 at G-2. It might seem a bit unusual for a company like ours to be inside a housing society, but it works well for us. We focus on agricultural products and things related to farming, so our days are mostly spent talking to suppliers or checking on our inventory in the storage room. The module is a simple space, nothing too fancy, just enough room for our desks and a few samples of what we handle. Because we are in a residential area, it’s much quieter than being out on a main highway or in a big industrial park. We appreciate that because it lets us focus on the details of the products we are sourcing. Most of the people living around us know who we are by now. We usually start the day with some hot chai and a quick talk about what needs to be shipped out. It’s a small operation, so we don't have layers of management or anything like that. If someone calls, they’re usually talking directly to one of the people who actually packed the order. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks during the peak season. Mangalam is a nice spot, and being on the ground floor makes it easy to move things in and out without having to deal with elevators or narrow stairs. It’s just a straightforward place where we get our daily tasks done.
