Agilent Technologies International

We’re over in Sector 36 in Noida, specifically at C-4 / 192. It’s a typical Noida neighborhood, pretty organized but with its own quirks. Working for Agilent Technologies International means we deal with a lot of technical details and international coordination. Our office is a functional space. It’s not a showroom; it’s where we sit and get the actual work done. There are manuals stacked up on some of the shelves and the whiteboards are usually covered in scribbles that only half of us understand. We spend a lot of time on calls with people in different time zones, which can make the hours a bit strange sometimes. The lighting in the office is a bit bright, but you get used to it. We usually grab lunch from one of the local spots nearby or someone brings in a big container of food to share. It’s a professional environment but we’re not stiff about it. We talk about our weekends and the local news while we wait for files to upload. Sometimes the power goes out and the generator kicks in with a loud hum, which is just part of living in UP. We focus on the precision of the work because that’s what matters in our field. It’s a lot of data and long emails. We’re just a team of people trying to do a solid job in our corner of Noida. It isn't always exciting, but it’s what we know.
