Addiction Gym

I spend most of my day here at Jalvayu Vihar in Sector 25. Our place, Addiction Gym, takes up shops two through five in the main market area. It is right opposite Bal Bharti, so we see the school buses and the parents every single day. The space is sort of split up because of how the individual shops are connected together. It is not one big open room, which is kind of nice if you want a bit of privacy while you are lifting. The floor tiles are a bit old, and one of them near the squat rack is slightly loose, so you have to watch your step there. I usually have the tea stall guy from next door bring me a cup around 11 AM when it finally gets quiet. The afternoon sun hits the front glass pretty hard, so we keep the blinds pulled down mostly. We have a lot of older equipment that we keep oiled and running. It is not the newest stuff you see on TV, but it works. People from the apartments nearby just walk over in their slippers sometimes and then change into their shoes once they get here. It is a very casual vibe. I do not like it when it is too quiet, so I usually have some music playing, but nothing too loud. We try to keep things organized, but on busy nights, the plates end up everywhere on the floor.
