Aakura Salon And Spa

Our place, Aakura Salon And Spa, is located on the ground floor of MSX Mall in Greater Noida. We took up units 135 and 136, so it’s a decent amount of space compared to some of the smaller shops. Being in a mall means we see a lot of people walking past all day long. Some people just wander in after doing their shopping, looking to sit down for a bit and get their hair done or maybe a foot massage. We have the salon area on one side and then some quieter spots for the spa stuff. It’s not always perfectly silent because you can hear the mall music or people talking in the hallways, but we try to keep it relaxed inside. The lights are bright in the front where we do the cutting and styling. We spend a lot of time restocking towels and making sure the sinks are clean. It’s a lot of work keeping a mall shop running from morning until the mall closes at night. We have a small team of us here, mostly just local people who know how to handle different types of hair and skin. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer to come in from the parking lot. It’s a steady job and we like the rhythm of it. It feels good to stay busy throughout the day.
