Aadharshila Welfare Foundation

We are based out of Adarsh Nagar, right here at Rajeshwari Devi’s place. It is a quiet spot, and most people around here know where we are. Aadharshila Welfare Foundation started because we saw things in the neighborhood that needed a bit of attention. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just us working from this address, trying to help out where we can. Sometimes things get a bit busy, and other days it’s just us sitting around a table planning what to do next. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. It is just a local effort. If you walk down the street in Adarsh Nagar, you’ll find us. We’ve lived around here for a while now. The foundation is our way of staying involved with the people nearby. It isn't always easy, and sometimes we run into small problems with how to get things organized, but we keep at it. We use the space we have at Rajeshwari Devi's to keep our supplies and meet up. It feels more like a home than an office, which is fine by us. People drop by sometimes just to talk or see what is going on. We try to keep things simple and honest. That’s just how we operate here in this part of town. No big speeches, just everyday work. We are just local people trying to make a small difference in our own community.
