Shri Krishna General Stores

Shri Krishna General Stores is located in Shastri Nagar, specifically at Shastri Nagar 95B. It’s a quiet enough corner, though the mornings can get a bit hectic when everyone is heading out to work. We’ve got a bit of everything crammed into the shop, from soap bars to notebooks and snacks. 95B isn't a massive space, so we use every inch of the walls to hang things up or stack them high. When you walk in, you might have to step around a box or two that just arrived. We like the neighborhood feel of Shastri Nagar; it feels like everyone knows each other’s business, for better or worse. We don't have a website or any of those modern things because most of our people just walk through the door when they need something. The counter is where most of the talking happens, and we probably spend as much time chatting as we do selling. The fan above us has a bit of a rattle, but it’s been there for years and we’ve gotten used to the sound. Sometimes we run out of things faster than expected, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s just a small local shop, and we are happy staying right here at 95B doing what we know how to do, which is just being a part of the daily life in Shastri Nagar. It is mostly about the people who stop by.
