This dental clinic is over in Greater Noida, specifically at Shop Number 4 in Jagat Farm. If you know the area, you know that Jagat Farm is a very busy market spot. We are located right opposite the Jagat Plaza parking, which is usually a mess of cars and bikes. Being on the first floor, we get a good view of the chaos outside. The clinic is not very large. We have two dental chairs and that familiar smell of antiseptic and tooth fillings. Gamma 1 is a neighborhood with a lot of students and families, so we see a real variety of people. Some kids are terrified of the drill, so we have to spend time just talking to them. The receptionist handles the appointments on a big paper ledger because she doesn't trust the new software very much. We have a small sink that sometimes drips, and we keep a bucket under it until the plumber shows up. It is a local dental practice where we know most of our patients by their first names. We don’t have those fancy massage chairs or television screens on the ceiling. It’s just us, the tools, and the patients. After work, we usually go down to the market to grab some snacks. It is a practical, no-nonsense place to get your teeth fixed while the market hums along outside the window. The stairs up to the shop are a bit steep, so people have to take their time.
