Indian Ice Cream Industries

Indian Ice Cream Industries is situated over on Barlina Road. It’s not the busiest street in the world, but it works for what we do. We have a fair amount of space here to keep our equipment and the delivery vans. Every morning starts early, usually before the sun is even up, so we can get things moving. Making ice cream on a larger scale like this takes a lot of attention. We aren't a small parlor where you sit and eat. It’s more of an industrial setup where we focus on the production side. The building is painted a simple color and has big doors for loading. We don’t use any corporate jargon or talk about things we can't do. We just follow the steps we’ve always followed. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other well. It’s a noisy place once the motors start humming. We spend a lot of time cleaning the vats and making sure everything stays cold. Barlina Road is where we’ve set down our roots. We don't have a big advertising budget. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here and people know what to expect from us. It's a lot of routine, but we don't mind it. Some days are better than others, especially when the weather is good. We just keep working and keep the machines running through the season.
