Maa Shakti Bricks

Our brickyard is located in Village Deobhog, right in the Gariaband district. We are pretty easy to find because we are situated very close to the HP Petrol Pump. That petrol pump is a big landmark for everyone around here who is traveling through. Out here in Deobhog, the work is mostly about the seasons. We have the kiln going and the stacks of bricks are always lining the edges of the property. It is a lot of manual labor, and we have people from the village and Post Kablimura helping us out. The dust gets everywhere, even into the small office where we keep our records. We don't really have a lot of bells and whistles. It is just a practical site where we make the bricks and wait for people to come buy them for their houses or walls. Sometimes the Tehsil officials come by or we see the regulars from the petrol pump stopping to say hello. It is a simple life and the work is repetitive, but there is something okay about seeing a fresh batch of bricks come out right. We don't spend much on advertising because people just know we are here by the road. If the weather is good, we are busy from sunrise to sunset. If it is monsoon season, we have to cover everything up and wait for the mud to dry. It is just daily life for us here.
