J C Reclamations

J C Reclamations is based out of Plot No-13 in the Industrial Area Siltara. Siltara is a big industrial zone, so it’s full of smoke, dust, and heavy machinery. Our plot is just one of many, but we’ve made it our own over the years. We deal with reclamation, which basically means we spend our time sorting through materials and seeing what can be used again. It’s dirty work. Our clothes are usually covered in grease or rust by the end of the shift. Plot No-13 has a big open yard where we pile up the stuff we collect. There is a small office cabin on the side, but we aren't in there much. Most of the time we are outside with the piles. The Siltara area is always humming with the sound of other factories. We don’t have any polished signs or a "corporate culture." We just have a bunch of guys who know how to handle heavy scrap. We use some old equipment to move things around. It breaks down sometimes, and then we have to fix it ourselves. The weather in the industrial area can be harsh, very hot in the summer, but we just keep going. People who come to Plot No-13 know what to expect. It’s a place for work, not for showing off. We just focus on getting through the inventory we have and keeping the yard functioning. It's tough work but someone has to do it.
