Gaurav General Stores

Being out here in Village Kachna means things move at a bit of a different pace. Our store is right in the heart of the village, serving people in the Tehsil Kharora area. It is a general store, so we try to have a little bit of everything. You never know what someone might need, from a bit of soap to some snacks for the kids. Life in the village is quiet but busy in its own way. We open up early because that is when people are out and about. The post office is nearby too, so that brings some extra folks past our door. We do not have a fancy website or anything, just the shop where we stand behind the counter most of the day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time sweeping. It is just a small family-run thing, really. We talk to the neighbors and hear about what is going on in the village while they shop. Kharora is our home, and running Gaurav General Stores is just what we do to keep busy and serve the local folks. We don’t overthink it. If we run out of something, we try to get it back in stock by the next time the supplier comes around. It is basic and practical, which is how we like things to be around here. Every day is a bit different but mostly it is just steady work. We just keep going.
