We are based out of Ajay Kumar Mehta’s house in the Chandani area of Kharaundhi. It’s in the Bhawnath region of the Garhwa district. It’s a local place for local people. We don’t have a big office building in a city center. Instead, we are right here in the village where our members live. We focus on small-scale savings and loans for the folks in this part of Jharkhand. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have any marketing experts or polished managers. It’s just us, the local staff, handling the daily chores of running a Nidhi company. We know the people here and we know the struggles of trying to save a little bit of money every month. Our office is just a plain room where we keep our books and meet with everyone. We don’t use any fancy computer systems that break down all the time. We prefer to do things the old-fashioned way when we have to. It makes people feel more secure. People come in from the nearby fields and shops to talk about their accounts. We don't rush anyone. We sit down, have a talk, and get the paperwork done. It’s a very human way of doing things. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Garhwa. We just want to be a steady, honest place for our neighbors in Kharaundhi to manage their finances.
