K R Earth Movers

Our place, K R Earth Movers, is located at 154/784. We are right beside the Essar Petrol Bunk, which is where everyone stops to fill up their trucks. Having the petrol bunk next door is actually pretty handy because we see a lot of people passing through. It’s a bit noisy with the engines running all the time, but you get used to the sound after a few days. We have our machines parked around, and there is usually some grease or dirt on the ground because that is just the nature of the work. We don't have a big fancy reception area. It’s mostly just a spot to keep the keys and do the paperwork for the equipment. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon. We usually sit outside on stools when the weather is decent. People often pull in thinking we are part of the petrol bunk, but we just point them to the pumps. It’s a straightforward setup here. The address 154/784 might sound complicated but once you see the Essar sign, you’ve basically found us. We are just a local crew doing our jobs with the earth movers. Some days are long, especially when the machines need fixing. We keep some tools in the back and a small desk near the door. It’s a rough and ready kind of place, but it serves its purpose for our daily work and the long hours we put in.
