Sanaji Hotels & Resorts is run out of Ambika Nagar-1 in Berhampur. We use Chandrama Sahu’s place as our main point of contact. It’s a residential area, so it’s not like walking into a big hotel lobby. It’s just a house where we keep the books and handle the business side of things. Ganjam is a busy district, and Berhampur has a lot of people coming and going all the time. We’ve been part of this community for a long time now. The street can get a bit narrow, so if you’re coming by car, you have to be careful. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and going over the plans for the day. There are always phone calls to make and people to meet. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even though we are a private limited company. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big staff. It's just a few of us making sure the hotel side of things is moving along. Sometimes we have to travel to different parts of Orissa to check on things, but we always come back here to Ambika Nagar to finish up the paperwork. It’s a basic office, nothing special to look at. Just some desks, a few cupboards, and a lot of folders. We like being in a regular neighborhood instead of a business park. It feels more real to us and we get to see our neighbors every day.
