Madina Ice Cream

Our shop, Madina Ice Cream, is right on the Gumpa Ring Road. You can find us across from Basawa College and not too far from the Beldale Petrol Pump. It is a busy spot with all the students and the traffic coming off the ring road. We have been here for a while, just serving whoever walks through the door. The shop is not anything fancy, just a few freezers and a place for people to stand. We spend most of our day keeping things cold and making sure we do not run out of flavors. During the college breaks, things get a little quieter, but usually, there is a good crowd. We are not big on marketing or social media. Most people just see the sign while they are filling up gas or heading to class. It is a small team here, mostly just family and one helper. We keep things simple. Sometimes the traffic on the ring road makes it hard to park, but people manage. We have a routine every morning to get the stock ready before the heat kicks in. It is a lot of lifting and moving heavy crates, which keeps us tired but happy. We like being part of this neighborhood. It is a good location because everyone passes by eventually. We do not try to be anything we are not, just a local ice cream place for the folks in this part of town.
