We operate out of a place called Rao Vila, which is number 47 on the 2nd Lane of Subham Vihar. Berhampur is a nice place to live, and Ganjam has its own slow pace that we appreciate. Jayashree Consulting India isn't a massive firm with hundreds of employees in cubicles. It’s more of a personal setup that grew out of a small idea. We work out of this house because it’s comfortable and it keeps our costs down, which is practical. The neighborhood is mostly quiet residential streets, which helps when you need to focus on complex consulting work. We deal with a lot of paperwork and talking to people about their business problems. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we know how to do. The office is just a couple of rooms with desks and some bookshelves filled with old folders and reference books. Sometimes we have meetings in the small garden outside if the sun isn't too hot. We don't have a big neon sign outside or anything fancy. Most people find us through word of mouth in Berhampur. We’ve lived here for a long time, so we know the local scene and the people pretty well. It’s a straightforward business. We don't promise the world; we just offer what we know. Often, the day ends with us just tidying up the desks and making sure the gate is locked properly. It’s a quiet life but the work keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
