Dev'S Fashion World

We are located over at House No. 2 in Ashok Nagar, right at the 8th Lane Extension. It’s a bit tucked away, so you really have to look for the sign if you’re coming for the first time. I decided to call it Dev'S Fashion World because I’ve always liked clothes and how people look in them. It’s not like those big malls you see in the city center. It’s just a ground floor setup with racks and some mirrors we put up ourselves. We spend a lot of time looking at fabrics and talking to the people who stop in. Some folks are looking for something specific for a wedding, while others just want a new shirt for work. Ashok Nagar is a quiet place for the most part, though the lane gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home. We don’t have a big staff, just me and a couple of others helping out with the sewing and the customers. We try to keep things tidy, but when new stock arrives, there are boxes everywhere for a day or two. It’s a lot of work keeping track of sizes and colors. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we always try to fix them. People around here seem to appreciate having a shop nearby instead of traveling far. It’s a small life, but we like the fashion business and the people we meet every day.
