Deepak Store

Our store is located right by the Biju Patnaik Children's Park in Triveni Nagar. It's a decent spot because of the trees and the sound of kids playing nearby in the afternoons. We are on Aska Road in Berhampur City. While Triveni Nagar can be a very busy area, having the park right there makes things feel a little more relaxed. We see families walking past the window all the time. The store itself is very simple. We stock the regular items that people need for their homes, like soap and basic food supplies. It gets quite noisy on the weekends when the park is completely full of people. We have been here for a good amount of time and we know most of the neighbors quite well. Every morning starts with moving heavy crates around and sweeping the front area. It’s a small space, so we really have to be careful about where we stack things so people can walk. Sometimes it feels a little cramped when several people come in at the same time. We don't have a large staff, it's just us taking our turns behind the counter. The weather in Berhampur gets incredibly hot, so we try to keep the shop as cool as possible for everyone. People often stop in to grab a few things on their way back home from work. It is a simple life running a local store like this. We just keep things moving every day.
