Debendra Spices

Debendra Spices is situated right near the private bus stand, very close to the Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar school. It’s a lively area because of all the travelers and students moving around all day long. The smell of ground spices usually fills our little shop and the immediate sidewalk outside. We spend a lot of our time grinding and mixing things by hand. It’s a dusty job, and we usually end the day with spice dust on our clothes, but we don’t mind it much. The location is good because people can just hop off the bus and grab what they need before heading home. We don’t have a big corporate structure or fancy offices. It’s just a few of us making sure the bags are filled and the quality is okay for the customers. We don't use any fancy machinery, just the standard equipment that works. Sometimes the noise from the bus stand is a bit much, especially when the drivers are honking for passengers, but it’s just part of the atmosphere here. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and most of the regulars know us by name. We don't bother with big advertisements or social media. We just focus on the spices and the people who come to buy them. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living in a very busy part of the city.
